Maddi Berger is a printmaker and multi-media artist based in Montreal, QC. Inspired by imagination and the otherworldly, her work explores themes such as lore, myth, and connections with nature. As an artist, she uses a combination of text and printed images and incorporates techniques such as paper-folding, leatherwork, and whittling to tell her stories. Her artistic practice expands beyond the traditional boundaries of print, often exploring structure, form, and movability through artist’s books and paper sculptures.
Maddi graduated with a BFA specializing in Print Media at Concordia University in 2022. During her time at Concordia,  she was involved in many organizations throughout the Fine Arts department, such as the Queer Print Club, the Fine Arts Reading Room, Art Matters, and the Fine Arts Student Alliance. In 2020, she completed an internship at Mitchell Pressworks where she built her own tabletop etching press.
